What's Wrong Dear Hippo?

"You shouldn't trust me. Because I don't even trust myself." Damn this sounds emo.

Just a mini conclusion of myself. When in a relationship, I usually go through 4 phases.

  1. - Infatuation
  2. - Comfort
  3. - Arguements arises
  4. - The breakup

For a normal person, the 1st phases lasts for hmm, around 6months? 2nd would be a year or so? 3rd may arise after a year and a half through the relationship? Thats where I come in. I go through all 4 stages within 2months.

However, if you say "i miss you" or "i love you" too soon, don't ever expect me to acknowledge your presence... Ever again.

Thank you.

No Worries... Klang Maa.

A good cup of tea must always come first.

Went to Klang for a "Ji Mui Outing" planned by Lord Black (ywen). The rest of the girls had to wait for Wei Mae, Ariel, Ellen and I to finish our class at 5pm and they were waiting at Old Town before 2pm harhar ngawwww if that aint love than I don't know what is.

The journey to Klang took forever-! After more than an hour, and a million potholes later, we've finally reached Lord Black's neighbourhood. We then dropped off 2 cars and proceeded to the seafood restaurant, which we found out later was called "Coconut Flower" lol.

Lala bee hoon

Deep fried sotong

Kangkung belacan... A must-!

Sizzling tofu

Sweet and sour chili crab

Buttered prawns

More lala

7 large dishes finished by 9 girls. We were so famished we sapu'd everything. Owh and top of that Lord Black bought 3 large coconuts for us. Again, so much loves =) And the total bill came up to RM192 which isn't as bad as I thought it would be. But I think Langkawi's seafood is still the best heh.

There were so many poor dogs surrounding the compound. It would come near us when we offer them food. But when we reach out our hands to try to pet them, they would just shy away in fear :'(

This was taken when I was half asleep back at Lord Black's house after dinner. I have such classy friends, don't I.

We went to scout for places to sit and drink after dinner. Choices were OverTime, Library and what not but in the end we settled for Barcollo Restaurant & Bar because it was one of the most quiet ones at the mall we were at.

We played like dunno how many drinking games. A few were really challenging because we weren't allowed to use Malaysian slangs like "laa", "marh", "lorr"... just to name a few. And other times we had to only speak in Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese... Damn Cantonese was the hardest. And there was one more where we had to keep our left hand raised up and see who's the first one to put it down lol. Mad night.

Car, Wei Mae, Mich and Ellen couldn't sleep over, so we left the bar together around 12pm because Lord Black had to show them the way out. The leftover girls then headed to mamak for second round, then proceeded home.

If you're wondering what's that, it's a picture of my leg with spots of hair. And those spots of hair belonged to Andrea -.- We were experimenting with the Veet wax strips and Andrea was our tribute ( by force ). So when I left one of the used wax strips lying around, it stuck to my own leg instead and left not only those patches of leftover hair, but a generous amount of wax as well. And trust me, they were not easy to remove.

Had bak kut teh for brunch. Lord Black brought us to this place that was insanely packed-! Food is, just food to me. Some people live to eat, some eat to live. I fall into the latter category. So to me the food there was good, but "meh". But then this fantabulous thing called "dry" bak kut teh came and I was like @.@

  Soup bak kut teh

Yao cha guai

Stir fried vege

Dry bak kut teh-! The sauce is relatively thick and some what spicy, which made it soooo good nomz...

Went to Shepherdoo after that, which is also where Lord Black works. Then we decided to give that "no phone's at the table" game a trial run. Totally failed because we kept giving each other permission to take pictures of the food and drinks to update instagram XP

My virgin pina-colada. Because it's too early in the day for a real drink... and because I'm a pussy like that harhar.

Molten brownie with ice-cream. Forever my fav item to order whenever a restaurant sells it.

Went back to Lord Black's house to laze around a bit after Shepherdoo because we were all too full and shit. Left for home at 4.30pm and have never looked back to Klang since XP

Look Out Behind You

April has been a really hectic month-! It's really not easy studying and working part time at the same time. My social life has reduced drastically and I rarely spent time with my family... That being one of the major contributions to why I've decided to resign, and because my dad forced me too -.-

Dahling's official birthday on the 22nd of April. We patiently waited for his highness's arrival for about an hour or so? Celebrated at Fridays Sunway, of all places right lol. As if Ellen and I don't get enough of Fridays on a daily basis already.

Ordered a cocktail that night but Michelle and Ellen finished most of it because... I could feel myself getting a bit cuckoo quarter way to the glass harhar. I've got a very bad history with cocktails -.-

Samantha, Ellen and I, with Mamun trying to photobomb us at the back.

Working at Fridays has been such a great opportunity for me. I actually dreaded having to leave because I felt like I've bonded so much with the people there. And when I've finally got to learn the ropes and what not, then it was time to leave.

Back when I was doing my first internship, I often wondered why seniors were so selfish. If not selfish, then they were very unwilling to train trainees and often blame them for not doing things right the first time.  Now however, I realised that they weren't being selfish, they were just looking out for themselves mostly. Its in our nature to be possessive, and some take advantage of other people... Especially in the service industry, in my opinion that is.

And for the unwillingness-to-train-newbies part... They always see trainees or new staff come and go. Having to teach someone everything they now with such dedication in the beginning, only to have them move on to some other department a month later. Its like, whats the point training someone when they're going to leave eventually?!

I've experienced that about 3 times or more ever since working at Fridays. Though I wasn't their official coach or anything, of course you'd feel obligated to watch out for them, make sure they don't get scolding like how I did and such. But in the end, I felt that my efforts were greatly unappreciated and some even just left unannounced. That really made me @.@

I'd help certain people when I was working there, and then I would just bat an eyelash to others. I wasn't always like that, I'd like to think that I helped everyone, even in the smallest way possible. But some were just plain ungrateful.

So the next time you judge me for being a selfish person... Well, you're either to ignorant, judgemental or have absolutely no experience working. But to me, I'm just looking out for myself. Always have to. It's a dog-eat-dog world after all.
