Harrow

I've always wondered why my dad didn't shower my mum with chocolates and flowers. Basically, the usual mainstream presents that every woman gets..

He brought my mum plasma TV for Valentines last year. So much better trololol. My parents be cool like that.

But its not the extravagant gifts that make relationships exciting, its the thought and surprises that comes with it.

I only wish to have the same sort of relationship that my parents have. Oh how I wish...

Of Scholars, Graduates and Good Food

It was quite a sad day, I've graduated but... Didn't attend my own convocation lol. Nawh just kidding, I'd rather work off my hours as a student ambassador but at least I got to see my friends jumping for joy over graduation. Must've been exciting but no worries, I'll get a nicer robe and a graduation hat for Degree.

The Multipurpose Hall Grand Hall doesn't exactly give out that "glam graduation" sorta feeling. When the word "graduation" and "convocation" comes to mind, I cant help but think of them Ivy League style graduation, with brick buildings and wooden interior decoration. Not fluorescent lighting and plaster walls -.-

I'm so proud of the Diploma Valedictorian ANDREA LOW YUEN CHING that day. Even though I wasn't present to witness her valedictory speech, I'm sure she did great-! That, and the fact she practically recited her speech to me countless of times lol.

And I'm pretty sure she's the first ever graduate that received a broom and bouquet of bak choi as her graduation gift instead of the usual teddy's and flowers. Her friends be loving her like that <3

Diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts and Tourism - Graduates of Year 2011

TCHT was the only school that gets to take a group shot, because we be awesome like that.

The perempuans waited for me to finish my shift then off we went to Nihonkai for dinner... A la Japonaise. I was a bit sceptical at first because this place served authentic Japanese cuisine and like, I can't even stand the simplest sushi-!

But alas, the food came and everything was very *drool worthy*. I'd pick this place over any common sushi franchise any day.

Iz cam-whoring with future Lim Tai Tai.

Load of food pictures coming out. And unfortunately I still don't know the actual names of the dish because I just can't seem to grasp them #failmax.

Fried prawns with lemon garnish

Ariel's cold noodles. There's actually ice underneath that wooden panel thingamajig

My "something" set. There's a proper name for this but like I've previously mentioned, I'm a failure when it comes to Japanese food -.-" Wasn't so crazy about the noodles, only managed to finish about half of the bowl then I banished it to a corner and nomz the rest.

Won't even bother trying to recall whats the name of this dish. It was served with Ariel's noodles.

May, Ping Er, CC and Lord Black joined in half way. The only noise in the restaurant that night came from our table. We were all laughing and talking like a bunch of jakun kampung hooligans lol. And the amount of food we ordered was like @.@ unimaginable. But hey, it was such a memorable occasion we just had to splurge a bit that night.

First round of Onigari *finally something that I remember

May's beef curry rice. I'm sooooooo going to order this the next time I go. Speaking of which, Ariel and Ping Er made a bet with each other. The bet was to see who can finish a plate of beef curry rice and udon set?*forgot again* the fastest. And the time limit given was 2hours. Whoever wins gets... Baskin Robbins trololol. I wanna be there when it happens and be the first one to laugh when either of them shits it out.

2nd round of Onigari... Ordered the grilled one this time and it tasted much better-!

I know, I know... This post is so overdue. The next one will be Ceccilia Wong's 21st birthday-! Stay tuned ;)
